WHO IS PLANT-MY-TREE?

PLANT-MY-TREE® is part of a German foundation. This ensures that we invest in a long-term project and also have a significant contribution to a healthier environment. The planting of the trees is supervised by a forester and the planted trees are continuously cared for by PLANT-MY-TREE® until they are big and strong enough to fend for themselves.

HOW DO ARCELORMITTAL TRY MAKING A DIFFERENCE?

We contribute to a healthier and greener environment by creating new mixed forest and green spaces together with PLANT-MY-TREE®. As a company in the steel industry, our environmental footprint is particularly important to us. That is why we donate a tree for the mixed forest project at Lüdenscheid for each of your orders per turnover of 500€ (excl. tax).

PLANT-MY-TREE® MARKETING ACTION RULES

ARTICLE 1

The company ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln (Amtsgericht Köln, HR B 68657) with its registered office at Gereonstraße 58, 50670 in Cologne and the company ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Halle (Amtsgericht Gütersloh, HR B 6886) with its registered office at Gutenbergstraße 11, 33790 in Halle (Westf.), are organising a promotion with a purchase obligation from 01.08.2021 to 30.09.2021.

Only trade customers who are registered on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com website or who register during the promotion period may take advantage of the promotion and make purchases.

ARTICLE 2

All registered commercial customers who have placed an order on e-steel.arcelormittal.com/DE/ during the promotion period are automatically considered participants in the promotion without having to take any further steps to participate. The planting of a tree is valid per turnover of 500€ excl. tax on each order.

ARTICLE 3

For each order recorded on the website e-steel.arcelormittal.com/DE/ within the promotion period, ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln or Halle undertakes to plant a tree under the following conditions:

For an order of 500€ excl. tax or more and for each additional turnover of 500€ excl. tax, ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel Halle GmbH or ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel Köln GmbH will donate to plant a tree to our partner PLANT-MY-TREE®.

Example:

Value of goods: 500€ net = 1 tree
Value of goods: 2000€ net = 4 trees

ARTICLE 4

Participants' personal data will be processed in accordance with the GPDR: "Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - "GDPR")".

The personal data provided by participants is necessary to manage their participation in the promotion and is reserved for ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH.

In accordance with the GDPR on data processing of personal data, participants have the right to information, access, rectification, erasure and blocking of data concerning them. To exercise these rights, the commercial customer may contact helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com by email.

The organiser undertakes vis-à-vis the data subjects to take all necessary precautions to ensure the security of the data and, in particular, to prevent data from being disclosed to unauthorised third parties.

ARTICLE 5

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held liable if they are forced to cancel, shorten, extend, postpone or change the terms of this promotion due to force majeure or events beyond their control.

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable if an e-mail concerning the purchase and the related conditions of the promotion is not delivered due to an error in the e-mail address provided by the participant when registering on the e-commerce site e-steel.arcelormittal.com, in the event of a failure of the access provider, in the event of a failure of the Internet network or in any other case.

Furthermore, it is expressly pointed out that the Internet is not a secure network. ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage caused by a possible virus or the intrusion of a third party into the system of the participant's device. Furthermore, ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln und Halle decline any responsibility for the consequences of the participant's connection or access to the site. Nor can ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle be held responsible for any disruption to the Internet network which prevents the smooth running of the promotional campaign and the provision of information to participants.

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage to participants, their IT equipment and the data stored there, or for any consequences, in particular for their personal or professional activities.

ARTICLE 6

By placing an order on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com website during the current promotion, the trade customer automatically accepts participation in the promotion: The terms and conditions of this promotion are available on e-steel.arcelormittal.com and can be requested by emailing helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com.

ARTICLE 7

All claims concerning the promotion must be made by submitting a request, stating the surname(s), first name(s) of the commercial customer and his personal contact details, to the following address: helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com within three (3) months of the expiry of the deadline for participation in the promotion at the latest.

This promotion is governed by German law.

In the event of differences of opinion regarding the application or interpretation of these provisions and in the event of a non-consensual clarification, the courts at the registered office of ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH shall have exclusive jurisdiction if the contracting parties are merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law.
