Conditions of Participation CLUB e-steel

Article 1

The company ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln (Amtsgericht Köln, HR B 68657) with its registered office at Gereonsdriesch 2-4, 50670 in Cologne and the company ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Halle (Amtsgericht Gütersloh, HR B 6886) with its registered office at Gutenbergstraße 11, 33790 in Halle (Westf.), organize a loyalty program called CLUB e-steel. Participation in the loyalty program and purchases are only possible for trade customers who are registered on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com website.

Article 2

All registered commercial customers who place orders on e-steel.arcelormittal.com/DE/en/ are automatically considered participants in the Loyalty Program without having to take any further steps to participate.

Article 3

Each order entered on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com/DE/en/ website and subsequently invoiced shall form the basis for the calculation of the respective loyalty status.

The loyalty status is calculated as follows:

Status from 100 orders: Gold Cashback: 0.8%
Status from 50 orders: Silver Cashback: 0.4%
Status from 5* orders: Bronze Cashback 0,2%

*from 2023 onwards, 20 orders are required for bronze status.

Article 4

Participants' personal data will be processed in accordance with the GPDR: "Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - "GDPR")".

The personal data provided by participants is necessary to manage their participation in the loyalty program and is reserved for ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH.

In accordance with the GDPR on data processing of personal data, participants have the right to information, access, rectification, erasure and blocking of data concerning them. To exercise these rights, the commercial customer may contact helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com by email.

The organizer undertakes vis-à-vis the data subjects to take all necessary precautions to ensure the security of the data and, in particular, to prevent data from being disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

Article 5

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held liable if they are forced to terminate the loyalty program or modify its conditions due to force majeure or events beyond their control.

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable if an e-mail concerning the purchase and the related conditions of the loyalty program is not delivered due to an error in the e-mail address provided by the participant when registering on the e-commerce site e-steel.arcelormittal.com, in the event of a failure of the access provider, in the event of a failure of the Internet network or in any other case.

Furthermore, it is expressly pointed out that the Internet is not a secure network, ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage caused by a possible virus or the intrusion of a third party into the system of the participant's terminal device.

Furthermore, ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln und Halle decline any responsibility for the consequences of the participant's connection or access to the site. Nor can ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle be held responsible for any disruption to the Internet network which prevents the smooth running of the promotional campaign and the provision of information to participants.

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage to participants, their IT equipment and the data stored there, or for any consequences, in particular for their personal or professional activities.

Article 6

By placing an order on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com website, the Professional Customer automatically accepts to participate in the loyalty program. If the customer does not wish to participate in the loyalty program, he must actively communicate this here and confirm the deregistration from the loyalty program.

The terms and conditions of participation are available at any time on e-steel.arcelormittal.com and can be requested by e-mail to helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com.

Article 7

All claims in connection with the loyalty program shall be made by submitting a claim, stating the surname(s), first name(s) of the Trade Customer and his personal contact details, to the following address: helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com, at the latest within three (3) months of the expiry of the Promotion Participation Period.

This loyalty program is governed by German law.

In the event of differences of opinion regarding the application or interpretation of these provisions and in the event of a non-consensual clarification, the courts at the registered office of ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH shall have exclusive jurisdiction if the contracting parties are merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law.
