Les tubes à ailettes sont fabriqués à partir de produits plats laminés à chaud en acier doux décapés et sont déformés avant ou après soudage par différents procédés.  Utilisés dans la réalisation d'échangeur de chaleur, ils présentent de bonnes aptitudes au soudage et à la déformation.
