CONDITIONS OF THE CAMPAIGN

Rules and Conditions “Frühjahrsgewinnspiel”*


Article 1

The company ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Cologne (Amtsgericht Köln, HR B 68657) with its registered office at Gereonsdriesch 2-4, 50670 in Cologne and the company ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Halle (Amtsgericht Gütersloh, HR B 6886) with its registered office at Gutenbergstraße 11, 33790 in Halle (Westf.), is organising a prize draw from 01.04.2023 to 30.04.2023.

Entry into the competition and purchase is only open to trade customers who are registered on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com website or who register during the promotion period. Sales to consumers are excluded. Furthermore, an effective conclusion of a purchase contract including the granting of a discount requires the purchase price to be sufficiently secured by a trade credit insurance or payment in advance.



Article 2
All registered commercial customers who have placed an order on e-steel.arcelormittal.com/DE/en/ during the promotional period (01.04.2023 - 30.04.2023) will automatically be deemed to have entered the competition without having to take any further steps to enter. Every order placed by a registered commercial customer on e-steel is eligible to win.


Article 3

Any order entered, acceptance confirmed and invoiced on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com/DE/en/ website during the Promotion Period will be considered a winning opportunity subject to the following conditions:

  • Each order counts as a winning opportunity
  • If a business customer places multiple orders during the current promotion, each individual order counts as a potential winning opportunity
  • 5 customers per ArcelorMittal steel trading branch will be randomly selected as winners
  • Each customer can only win once: If several orders from a commercial customer are selected as winners, another, new commercial customer will be selected at random
  • If a customer has several registered purchasers, only one purchaser per customer can win

Article 4

Participants' personal data will be processed in accordance with the GPDR and the GDPR: "Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - "GDPR")".

The personal data provided by participants is necessary to manage their participation in the discount promotion and is reserved for ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH.

In accordance with the GDPR and the DSGVO on data processing of personal data, subscribers have the right to information, access, rectification, erasure and blocking of data concerning them. To exercise these rights, the business customer can contact helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com by email.

The organiser undertakes vis-à-vis the data subjects to take all necessary precautions to ensure the security of the data and, in particular, to prevent data from being disclosed to unauthorised third parties.



Article 5

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held liable if they are forced to cancel, shorten, extend, postpone or change the conditions of this promotion due to force majeure or events beyond their control.

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable if an email regarding the purchase and related terms and conditions of the discount promotion is not delivered due to an error in the email address provided by the participant when registering on the e-commerce site e-steel.arcelormittal.com, a failure of the access provider, a failure of the internet network or in any other case.

Furthermore, it is expressly pointed out that the Internet is not a secure network; ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln und Halle cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage caused by a possible virus or the intrusion of a third party into the system of the participant's end device. Furthermore, ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln und Halle decline any responsibility for the consequences of the participant's connection or access to the site. Nor can ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle be held responsible for any disruption to the Internet network that prevents the smooth running of the discount promotion and the provision of information to participants.

ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH Köln and Halle cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage to the participants, their IT equipment and the data stored there, or for any consequences, in particular for their personal or professional activities.




Article 6

By placing an order on the e-steel.arcelormittal.com website during the current competition, the commercial customer automatically accepts participation in the competition.

The terms and conditions of this competition are available on e-steel.arcelormittal.com and can be requested by emailing helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com.



Article 7

All claims in connection with the discount promotion must be made by submitting a request, stating the surname(s), first name(s) of the commercial customer and his personal contact details, to the following address: helpdesk.e-steel@arcelormittal.com within three (3) months of the expiry of the deadline for participation in the discount promotion at the latest.

This discount promotion is subject to German law.

In the event of differences of opinion regarding the application or interpretation of the present provisions and in the event of a non-consensual clarification, the courts at the registered office of ArcelorMittal Stahlhandel GmbH shall have exclusive jurisdiction if the contracting parties are merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law.
